Business Background
David has over 15 years of legal and venture capital experience. Prior to joining Celtic House in 2000, David practiced intellectual property and corporate law, with a focus on technology companies.
David has held directorship on five private boards, and currently serves as a board member of Camilion Solutions. He also serves on the Board and the Executive Committee of Canada's Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA) and was the Chair of the CVCA’s Annual Conference in Ottawa in May 2010.
Celtic House Involvement David manages Celtic House’s legal, administrative and investor relations functions. He has negotiated, structured and closed over 120 investments, and has represented the firm on 16 successful M&A and IPOs. He serves as a secondary partner on a number of portfolio companies, occasionally taking the lead role in late-stage or work-out situations. He has held directorships on 5 private boards.
