CORK, Ireland-29 June 2012 – RedMere® a leading supplier of smart active cable solutions has announced that Monster®, the world leader in advanced audio/visual accessories, has launched a new line of superior HDMI cables certified by Imaging Science Foundation (ISF®) using the latest RedMere Smart Cable technology. This new ISF portfolio includes cables capable of speeds up to 21Gbps and incorporates LED speed indicators to display the rate of data be it SD,HD or 4K – all made possible by the RedMere technology inside the connector of the cable.
RedMere’s chip technology ensures that the cables handle the highest HDMI data rates possible and at least supports video features like Ethernet, 3D, and 4K. This proprietary technology enables the new on-board HDMI performance indicators displaying the video format so the end user can see immediately if the signal conveyed has standard, full HD or 4K resolution.
